Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kelvin Pouncey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Kreese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kreese is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 'Sweep The Leg, Johnny' by No More Kings. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as John Kreese enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kelvin Pouncey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, John Kreese!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kreese moves into range and clinches up with Pouncey.

Pouncey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A low kick from Kreese is predictable there

and Pouncey counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kreese won't be happy with that.
Pouncey works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Kreese is trying to escape the position but Pouncey is controlling the position.

Pouncey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kreese swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pouncey looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kreese with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Pouncey here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kreese tries to free his leg and advance position but Pouncey is retaining full guard.

Pouncey uses his free foot to push down on Kreese's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kreese.
