Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Texas Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Belfidus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pete ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Pete connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Belfidus momentarily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Pete.
Pete scores with the left hand. Belfidus knows he should have avoided that one.
Belfidus shoots in looking for a takedown. Pete tries to sprawl out of it but Belfidus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pete manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Belfidus shoots for a takedown but Pete saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A slapping body kick lands there for Pete.

Texas Pete has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vitor Belfidus.
Belfidus looks to throw a body kick
and Pete counters with a nice uppercut.
Pete fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Belfidus.
Belfidus takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Pete lands a right hook to the body.
Pete moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Pete throws out a powerful jab.

Pete cracks Belfidus with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Belfidus looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Pete finish him?

Belfidus is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pete drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Belfidus's head, knocking him out cold! Pete is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
