Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lukacz Belmont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Starner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belmont comes to the cage accompanied by N.W.A - Appetite For Destruction. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Glen Starner enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lukacz Belmont!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Glen Starner!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starner misses with a jab, cross combination.
Starner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Belmont manages to avoid it.
Belmont scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A big right from Starner misses.
Belmont swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Belmont throws a right and a left that Starner avoids nicely.
And Starner tries to counter it with a takedown but Belmont pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Belmont definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Belmont throws a leg kick but Starner sees it coming and moves out of range.
Starner throws a poor cross that misses
and Belmont counters with a nice uppercut.
Belmont shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Belmont swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Starner with the counter takedown but Belmont avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Belmont connects with a crisp jab.
Starner gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Belmont counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.


Starner is rocked!

Belmont looks to throw the jab but Starner is out of range.

Starner shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Belmont is trying to defend but Starner finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Starner is working for a kimura but Belmont is defending it quite comfortably.
Belmont regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Starner.

Belmont controls Starner momentarily but Starner frees himself.
Starner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Belmont is keeping the position for now.
Belmont wants to sweep but no luck.
Starner throws a strike but Belmont rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Starner manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Belmont manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Starner tries to free his leg and advance position but Belmont is retaining full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Belmont is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Starner is controlling him.
Starner throws an elbow that misses. Belmont uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Starner's guard. Nice move by Belmont!

Starner trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Belmont looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Starner wants to hit a switch here but Belmont passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Starner there!
Starner is trying to escape the mount.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Belmont stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Belmont will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A telegraphed right hand from Starner misses the target.
Belmont connects with a jab.
Starner moves out of range as Belmont throws a body kick.
Belmont lands with an uppercut that bounces Starner off the cage and back into range.
The crowd cheers as Belmont lands an impressive looking overhand right. Starner doesn't seem phased though.
Belmont cracks the inside of Starner's front leg.
Starner moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lukacz Belmont dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Belmont throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Starner jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Belmont lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Starner has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Starner and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Starner lands a nice looking body shot.
Belmont jabs Starner right on the nose. Starner blinks but takes it well.
Belmont lands with a good body shot.
Starner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Belmont was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Belmont is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Starner can do to turn this around?

Starner takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Starner is still on wobbly legs! Can Belmont finish him?
Belmont needs to keep his hands up - Starner had a free shot at his head there.
Starner seems to have recovered his senses.

Belmont cracks Starner with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Starner looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Belmont finish him?

Starner throws a right hand that misses
and Belmont counters with a nice low kick that buckles Starner's knee momentarily.
Belmont throws a leg kick that misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Starner swings for the body but Belmont moves out of range.
Starner swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Belmont half committed to a counter leg kick.
Belmont scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A combination from Starner does no damage.
Starner scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Starner takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Belmont throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Starner bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Starner takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Starner lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Belmont fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Starner.

and Belmont counters with a crisp right hand that drops Starner! Belmont lets Starner back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Belmont tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Starner was well out of range. Poor timing from Belmont.
And Starner tries to counter it with a takedown but Belmont pushes his down on his head and steps out.
A nice inside leg kick there by Belmont. That's going to slow Starner down.
Starner chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Belmont can pounce on him.
Belmont wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Starner loads up on a big right hand but Belmont slips the punch.
Starner connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Starner shoots in but Belmont avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lukacz Belmont has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glen Starner.
Starner drops his hands momentarily and Belmont takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Starner misses the shot to the body.
Starner drops his hands for a split second and Belmont immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Starner face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Belmont follows up with a right hand that knocks Starner into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lukacz Belmont!

An intense looking Lukacz Belmont took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'And that's LKZ 2-0 GLEN.'.
