Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Orhan Mammadov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Astolfo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mammadov is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Silva's half guard.
Silva looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mammadov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Silva felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
