Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brett Hart!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eckstroem takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Eckstroem walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Eckstroem ducks right into an uppercut from Hart.
Hart circles away from the clinch attempt.
A left and a right from Hart both land. Nice combination.
Sloppy strikes from Hart. Those never looked like landing.
Eckstroem went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Hart moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Eckstroem is rocked!
Hart finds Eckstroem's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Eckstroem flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Hart lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Eckstroem will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brett Hart!
