The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazaro slaps away a takedown attempt from Lloyd, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lazaro lands a glancing blow to the side of Lloyd's head.
Lazaro swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Colin Lloyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lloyd tries to clinch up but Lazaro circles away and keeps his distance.
Lazaro wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Lazaro seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Lloyd walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lazaro darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lazaro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lloyd stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lloyd with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lazaro to score with a decent uppercut.
No luck for Lloyd with that takedown attempt.
Lloyd takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Lazaro instigates a clinch.
Lazaro manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Lloyd tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lazaro is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Lazaro is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Pedro Lazaro.
Lloyd tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Lazaro counters with a straight right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lloyd darts in looking for a takedown but Lazaro gets double underhooks and turns Lloyd into the cage.

Lazaro moves into the clinch.
Lazaro lands a shot to the body.

Lazaro drops Lloyd onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Lloyd is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Lloyd jumps guard but Lazaro turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Lloyd seems to have recovered his senses.
Pedro Lazaro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Colin Lloyd.
The referee calls for Lazaro to work.
The referee is keeping an eye on Lazaro - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Lloyd tries to pull guard but Lazaro forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Come on Lazaro - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Lloyd is breathing heavily.
Lazaro is pushing Lloyd up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Lazaro creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Lloyd's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Lloyd drops to his knees and Lazaro pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pedro Lazaro!
After winning the bout, Pedro Lazaro thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
