Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Mervyn Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dierk Riese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dierk Riese is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Mervyn Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dierk Riese!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riese fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Harris is out of range.
Riese lands a jab to the head.
Riese has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Riese tries to bum rush Harris with a series of wild strikes but Harris uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Harris was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Harris lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Harris.
Riese misses with an uppercut
and Harris counters with a stiff right hand.
Harris is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Riese.
Riese looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

That was a close round but I would say that Mervyn Harris will probably get the nod.
