The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schelokov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Schelokov sets himself, and Mackintosh steps forward looking for the clinch! Schelokov avoids it this time.
Schelokov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Mackintosh lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mackintosh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Schelokov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mackintosh will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Mackintosh is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Schelokov closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Mackintosh out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Alexander Schelokov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
