The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazzarri shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gaultier sprawls well. Gaultier wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mazzarri gets slowly back to his feet.
Gaultier swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Mazzarri's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gaultier connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mazzarri scrambles back to his feet.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gaultier lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mazzarri has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mazzarri and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

You can see the frustration on Gaultier's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Gaultier is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mazzarri is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
