Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Shelby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jensen Haye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jensen Haye!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haye scores with a nice right hand.
Shelby pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Shelby looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Shelby. Haye does a little dance to reset his feet.
Haye throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Shelby on the side of the head.
Shelby fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Haye manages to avoid it.
A little jabbing left from Haye on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Haye counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Shelby thinking.
Haye looks to land a body kick but Shelby moved away.
Shelby is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Shelby rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Haye moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Shelby avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Good leg kick by Haye there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Haye working the clinch nicely. Shelby is working for position but Haye cracks him with a big knee to the head! Shelby crumples up against the cage and Haye lands two more shots before the ref can save Shelby! This one is all over!
