Krause comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Heart of a Champion kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kane Galloway has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kane Galloway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, James Krause!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galloway swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Krause.
Krause shoots in for a double leg but Galloway sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Galloway connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A punch lands to the side of Krause 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Galloway feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Krauses jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Krause shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Galloway looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Galloway bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Krause's head.
Krause slips a straight right by Galloway.
Krause blocks a jab.
Galloway slaps away a takedown attempt from Krause, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Galloway tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Krause was well out of range. Poor timing from Galloway.
Galloway connects with an inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Krause gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Krause shoots in looking for a takedown. Galloway tries to sprawl out of it but Krause keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Galloway manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kane Galloway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Krause.

Galloway gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Krause to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Galloway wants to sweep but no luck.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Krause works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Krause is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Galloway sees it coming and defends easily.

Krause in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Galloway tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Krause!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). James Krause!
