Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Roger Pott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Langhi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michael Langhi will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Roger Pott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Langhi!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langhi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Roger Pott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pott is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Langhi.
Langhi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pott looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pott ducks under a wild hook from Langhi.
Langhi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pott thows a left - swing and a miss!
Pott scores with a hook to the body. Langhi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Langhi swats away the attempt to clinch by Pott.
Langhi doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pott throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Langhi.
A little jabbing left from Langhi on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Langhi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
As Langhi tries to get set, Pott tries to push him back and clinch up but Langhi manages to avoid the attempt.
Langhi looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Langhi takes one on the chin but seems OK.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Langhi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Langhi looks to throw the jab but Pott is out of range.
Pott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Langhi circles away quickly and effectively.
Langhi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Pott wants to clinch but Langhi slips to the side
enabling Langhi to counter with a crisp jab.

Pott scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Langhi to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Pott away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Langhi got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Langhi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pott.
Pott wants to clinch up but Langhi keeps it at a distance.
It seemed like Langhi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Pott tries to bum rush Langhi with a series of wild strikes but Langhi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pott throws a right and a left that Langhi avoids nicely.

Pott tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Langhi throws out a counter right but Pott avoids it with no problem.
Pott fails with an attempt to clinch.
It seemed like Langhi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Pott is looking to counter the offense by Langhi and move into the clinch.

Pott scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Pott uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Langhi.
Langhi dodges the punch combination from Pott.

Pott just misses with a punch to the body.

Pott instigates a clinch.
Langhi tries to break free but Pott pushes him back against the cage.
Pott misses with a body punch.
Langhi has had enough of the clinch but Pott keeps him there for the moment.
Pott has Langhi pressed against the cage, preventing Langhi from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Pott tries to throw a body punch but Langhi avoids it by throwing Pott back against the cage.

Pott lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Langhi backwards.
Langhi wants to get back to striking at distance but Pott won't allow it.

Langhi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pott's jab looks to have found its range, popping Langhi under the eye.
Pott displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Langhi throws out the jab.
Pott lands a nice hook to Langhi's body. Langhi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Langhi misses with an uppercut. Pott saw that one coming.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pott dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice defenses there by Pott.

Pott cracks Langhi with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Langhi is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Langhi is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
Langhi is still on wobbly legs! Can Pott finish him?
Pott ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Langhi out cold! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Roger Pott!
A very excited looking Roger Pott made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
