PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sylwester Snail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Thiago Sanchez has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Thiago Sanchez seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sylwester Snail!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Sanchez with that takedown attempt.
Snail lands with a shot to the body.
Sanchez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Snail throws out the jab.
Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up with Snail, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes Snail against the cage but Snail circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Snail lands a big head kick that sends Sanchez tumbling to the mat! Snail takes a step backwards and waves Sanchez back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Thiago Sanchez has been cut.
Sanchez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thiago Sanchez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Snail tries to sprawl but Sanchez drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Snail wants to get back to full guard.

Sanchez is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Snail doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sanchez.
Sanchez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Snail really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanchez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sanchez is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Snail is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
