The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turkinen tries to clinch up but Paquette circles away and keeps his distance.
Paquette scores with a jab to the head.
Turkinen tries to clinch but Paquette is having none of it.
Turkinen shoots in looking for a takedown but Paquette manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Turkinen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Paquette lands with a good body shot.
Paquette moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Jaako Turkinen has been cut.

No joy there for Paquette, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Turkinen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Turkinen gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Turkinen tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Paquette is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Turkinen buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Turkinen!! Turkinen is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Paquette throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
