The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avalon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hartola manages to avoid it.
Hartola throws out a counter right but Avalon avoids it with no problem.

Hartola thuds his right hand into Avalon's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Hartola displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Avalon throws out the jab.
James Avalon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Avalon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hartola circles away quickly and effectively.
Hartola is looking to slow Avalon down with leg kicks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like James Avalon has been cut.
Avalon takes one to the chin there.
Hartola lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Avalon looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Hartola dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hartola scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Avalon takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hartola drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Avalon's head, knocking him out cold! Hartola is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
