Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sangram Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Reese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reese has chosen Person of Interest OST - Knock Knock as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sangram Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Reese!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Singh looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Singh counters with a shoot takedown. Reese fights it but they end up in guard.
Reese wants to stand but Singh is controlling the position.
Reese is wriggling around but Singh manages to pass to half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Reese can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reese wants to get back to his feet.
Reese really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Singh. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Singh looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Reese with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Singh looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Reese pushes Singh off looking to stand but Singh dives back in and keeps control.

Reese tries to kick Singh off but Singh keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
