Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rogelio Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Just For (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Just For is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rogelio Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Just For!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Knight 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Just For seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
For swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Knight counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
For wants to get back to his feet.

Knight decides to stand up.
For scores with a shot to the body.
For scores with a three punch combo!
For with a body punch. A glancing blow.
For scores with a nice strike.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
For ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Knight has taken the fight to the clinch.

Knight manages to break the clinch.
For tries to clinch but Knight is having none of it.
For swings and misses with a hook to the body.
For lands a nice hook to Knight's body. Knight takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Knight closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Knight decides to return to a standing position.
Knight showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from For.

For misses with a wild combination.
Knight drops down looking for a counter takedown but For sprawls and moves away.
For rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Knight moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Knight shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
For lands a slapping body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
For tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Just For is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

For misses with a body shot.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The fight stays on the outside here - For looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Knight tries to counter with a takedown but For is quick to defend against it.
Knight takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nice body punch from For.
Decent striking displayed by For there.

For wants to clinch.
For misses with the combination.

Knight fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging For to the ground. Knight is now in For's guard.
We've been informed that For has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Knight scoring with some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Just For will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Knight takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
For tries to bum rush Knight with a series of wild strikes but Knight uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
For works over Knight's head and body with a nice combination.
For fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Knight looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
For works Knight's body with a nice hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
For scores with a three punch combo!
For stalks Knight and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Knight's face. Knight staggers backwards, shaken.
For works Knight's body with a nice hook.

Knight needs to keep his hands up - For had a free shot at his head there.
For wants to clinch up but Knight keeps it at a distance.
For displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
For looks to clinch

and Knight counters with a takedown into side control.
Knight looks up at the clock and then as For takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Knight smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Knight stands up.
For has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
For scores with a jab.
Knight could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

For throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
For jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
For throws a right and a left that Knight avoids nicely.
For is looking to clinch.
Knight lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Knight looks to land a combination but For avoids it well.
For let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
For lands with a nice body punch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Knight closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into For's guard.
Knight is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Knight postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
For wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Knight manages to pass to side control.
For pushes Knight off looking to stand but Knight dives back in and keeps control.

Knight seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Knight winds up and cracks For with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Knight is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.


For is rocked!
Knight has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Knight working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
For is still in real trouble! Can Knight finish him?
Knight looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
For pushes Knight off but Knight dives into side control.
Rogelio Knight overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Knight lands a strong strike to the head of For. That's dazed him! Knight looking to finish here. For is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Knight lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
