Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Squiggy Squirrelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ohm Melet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melet has chosen partingtime as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Squiggy Squirrelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ohm Melet!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melet dives in for a single leg takedown but Squirrelly sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A little feinted left hand from Squirrelly on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Melet takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Melet throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Squirrelly's waist but Squirrelly gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Melet off to one side.
Melet's coach down at Foot Loves was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Melet's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Squirrelly fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Melet ducks under a wild hook from Squirrelly.
Squirrelly lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Squirrelly, right into the meat.
Melet shoots for a double leg takedown but Squirrelly sprawls well. He's pushed Melet's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Squiggy Squirrelly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ohm Melet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Squirrelly throws a head kick but Melet moves out of range.
Squirrelly stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Squirrelly is looking to slow Melet down with leg kicks.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Squirrelly cracks Melet with a right hand to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Squirrelly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Melet uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Squirrelly.
Melet tries to score a power double leg takedown but Squirrelly sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Melet somewhat.
Squirrelly leaves Melet with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Melet moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Squirrelly tries to score with a low kick but Melet moves his leg out of the way.
Squirrelly drops Melet with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Melet! Squirrelly dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Squiggy Squirrelly!
Ohm Melet spoke after the fight, saying 'thank you fans for the support. I will have revenge...'.
