Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackie McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor fails with an attempt to clinch.

Keller shoots in and gets a takedown into McGregor's guard.

Keller takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
McGregor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Keller swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jackie McGregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Keller drives through with a takedown into McGregor's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Keller decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on McGregor, up you get!

The fight stays on the outside here - McGregor looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McGregor cracks Keller with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Keller tries to move into range but McGregor moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
McGregor cracks a nice hook into Keller's ribs.

McGregor is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Keller gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Keller wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

McGregor is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
McGregor seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Keller does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

McGregor is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

McGregor is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Keller is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
McGregor wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Keller closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into McGregor's guard.

Keller looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
