Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Naya Shinoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton The Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinoki comes to the cage accompanied by wadiako. The crowd seem to be enjoying The Quick's choice of entrance music: Higher. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Quick wants to get up but he can't break Shinoki 's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Quick is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Shinoki gets his way!
