And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tim Tucker!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Barbosa misses with an elbow over the top.

Tucker gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Tucker prevents Barbosa from standing back up.
Barbosa is refusing to be controlled, as Tucker sits in half guard.
Tucker is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Barbosa is not content to let Tucker control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barbosa is trying to stand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tucker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Tucker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Barbosa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Barbosa wants to get back to his feet.
Tucker is looking to take a break and control but Barbosa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Barbosa is trying to stand.
Barbosa is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Pitbull MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Barbosa is staying active underneath Tucker, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Barbosa is trying to stand.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Tucker gets the takedown into side control.
Barbosa pushes Tucker away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tucker gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tucker is looking to take a break and control but Barbosa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tucker in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Barbosa is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
