PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marc Lewis Dillinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pozar Pozar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pozar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: z Buta Wjeżdzam. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marc Lewis Dillinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 19 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pozar Pozar!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pozar is looking to clinch but Dillinger is avoiding it.
Dillinger fails to land the takedown.
Dillinger has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mo's ($499) in the buildup to the fight.
Dillinger darts in looking for a takedown but Pozar gets double underhooks and turns Dillinger into the cage.
Despite the aggression on Pozar's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Pozar throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dillinger.

Pozar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dillinger gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Pozar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dillinger doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dillinger manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close second round but I would say that Marc Lewis Dillinger will probably get the nod.
