Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tappy Gilmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Sauve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sauve cracks Gilmore with a right hand to the side of the head.
Gilmore is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sauve sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Gilmore shoots in for a takedown but Sauve shows good takedown defense.
Sauve's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Sauve duly obliges.
The crowd cheers as Sauve lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gilmore doesn't seem phased though.

Sauve fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gilmore.
Gilmore tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sauve sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gilmore somewhat.

Gilmore is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Gilmore closes the distance and clinches up with Sauve, looking for a takedown. Gilmore pushes Sauve against the cage but Sauve circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gilmore's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sauve connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gilmore scrambles back to his feet.
Sauve connects with a leg kick. Gilmore looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Gilmore has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sauve after a bit of a struggle.

Sauve scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Sauve bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Sauve leaves Gilmore with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gilmore has been working on his balance at Last Dragon MMA, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Sauve.

Gilmore shoots in looking for a takedown. Sauve tries to sprawl out of it but Gilmore keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sauve manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sauve lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Sauve uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gilmore.
Sauve comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gilmore shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sauve sprawls well. Sauve wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gilmore gets slowly back to his feet.
Sauve stalks Gilmore and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gilmore's face. Gilmore staggers backwards, shaken.
Sauve throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gilmore has hold of Sauve's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Sauve seems comfortable defending it but Gilmore has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Sauve is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Sauve is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gilmore couldn't care less - he's delighted!
