Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Landon Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christer Pettersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Austin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ratamahatta. Pettersson has chosen Korn - Did My Time as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Landon Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
27 - 15 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Christer Pettersson!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Austin throws a looping overhand right but Pettersson ducks down to avoid it.
Pettersson let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Austin lands an overhand right.
Nice uppercut lands for Austin. That snapped Pettersson's head back.
Nice uppercut there from Austin.
Austin takes one to the chin there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Austin, as that shot connected.
Austin scores with a leg kick.
No joy there for Austin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Austin backing away here, and Pettersson unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Austin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pettersson! But no joy.
Austin lands a really nice looking cross but Pettersson seems unphased.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Austin misses with a hook.
Pettersson lands a nice looking body shot.
Pettersson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Austin throws out the jab.
Austin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Austin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Austin throws a body shot but no joy.
Austin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Austin lands a nice shot that snaps Pettersson's head back.
Austin throws a push kick but Pettersson slaps the foot to one side.
Pettersson walks into a jab.
Austin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Austin is looking to chop away at Pettersson's legs.
Austin throws a head kick but Pettersson moves out of range.
A little jabbing left from Pettersson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Austin throws a sloppy head kick
and Pettersson counters with a slapping leg kick.
Pettersson with a jab.
Austin connects with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A solid leg kick lands there for Pettersson.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pettersson works Austin's body with a nice hook.
Pettersson throws a body shot but no joy.
Landon Austin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Austin blocks a jab.
Pettersson loads up on a big right hand but Austin slips the punch.
Austin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pettersson has time to react.
Austin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Austin is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Pettersson misses with a looping right.
Austin lands with an uppercut that bounces Pettersson off the cage and back into range.
Pettersson misses with a straight right.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pettersson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Austin - the referee stops the clock and Pettersson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Austin. Pettersson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pettersson lands a leg kick that knocks Austin off balance momentarily.
Austin takes a jab right on the kisser.
A chopping leg kick lands by Austin.
Pettersson looks to throw the jab but Austin is out of range.
Austin looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Austin lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Austin lands with a hook. Pettersson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Pettersson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Austin.
Pettersson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Austin's head.
Austin misses with a left hand
and Pettersson counters with a crisp right hand that drops Austin! Pettersson lets Austin back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Austin is rocked!
It looks like Landon Austin has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Austin throws a poor cross that misses
and Pettersson counters with a low kick, right behind Austin 's knee.
Oh Austin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Austin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Austin is breathing heavily.
Austin drops his hands momentarily. Pettersson doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Austin staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Austin doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Christer Pettersson!
Christer Pettersson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
