Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Dodson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Shouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for John Dodson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Dodson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 31 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joshua Shouse !
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dodson drives through and clinches with Shouse against the cage.
Shouse stops a takedown attempt from Dodson.
Dodson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Shouse breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dodson dives in for a single leg takedown but Shouse sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Dodson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Shouse but Shouse pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A countering left hand to the body from Shouse misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Dodson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dodson throws a head kick that misses.
Dodson is looking to clinch but Shouse is avoiding it.
Dodson fails with a takedown attempt.
Shouse tries to counter by closing the distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shouse manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dodson on his heels. He'll look to pass Dodson's guard now, I'm sure.
Shouse slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shouse tries to free his leg and advance position but Dodson is retaining full guard.
Dodson being controlled here, momentarily.
Shouse won't allow Dodson to get back to his feet.
Shouse really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dodson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Shouse trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dodson's guard.

Shouse has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Dodson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Shouse is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Dodson pulls down on the head and he's put Shouse to sleep! This one is all over!
