Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Boyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Braddock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charles Boyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Braddock!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Braddock closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Braddock lands in his opponent's guard.

Braddock wants to control from the top but Boyer keeps moving.

Boyer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Braddock is looking to work some ground and pound but Boyer has wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Braddock must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Boyer doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Boyer thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Braddock looking to sit in guard and control but Boyer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Braddock is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Boyer drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Braddock dives on top into guard.

Braddock throws an elbow that misses. Boyer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Braddock's guard. Nice move by Boyer!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Braddock is looking for a sweep. Boyer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Braddock is looking to control Boyer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Braddock avoid being mounted?

That was a close round but I would say that Charles Boyer will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Braddock throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Braddock wants to take a breather but Boyer is having none of it.
Braddock is stalling here. Boyer is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Braddock seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Boyer has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Boyer lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Braddock is working Boyer over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Boyer looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Boyer has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Braddock off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Braddock darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Boyer is staying active underneath Braddock, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brian Braddock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Boyer is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Braddock has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Braddock manages to reverse the position and now he's in Boyer's guard. Nice work there by Braddock.
Braddock lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Braddock postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Boyer is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Braddock, into his guard.

Brian Braddock has got the better of the ground game so far.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Boyer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Braddock is proving hard to escape from.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Charles Boyer.
I think Boyer has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
