Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly comes to the cage accompanied by Jedi Mind Tricks / Retaliation . George Kelly had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dennis Page!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Kelly blocks the low kick.
As Page backs away, Kelly returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Kelly fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Page looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Page swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Kelly feinted with a counter takedown.
Page misses with the combination.
Page looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kelly takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kelly tries a head kick but it misses.
Kelly is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Page.
The fighters circling - Page throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Page swings for the body but Kelly moves out of range.
Page throws a leg kick but Kelly moved away.

Kelly with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Page to score with a decent uppercut.

Kelly definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

A little jabbing left from Page on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Page connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kelly throws a front kick aimed at Page's knee but Page avoids it well.

Page is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kelly throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Page.

Page lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kelly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Page manages to avoid it.
Dennis Page seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kelly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Page let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Oh Kelly is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kelly tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Page manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kelly seems to have got his legs back now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Page, as that shot connected.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Page! But no joy.

Kelly lands a left and a right that send Page crashing to the mat, dazed. Kelly thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that George Kelly will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Kelly lunges at Page with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Page's hand.
Page misses with a right hand
and Kelly counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Page attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Kelly appears to be looking for a big counter.
Kelly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Whack! Kelly lands a heavy head kick that drops Page. The ref tackles Kelly to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Page was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). George Kelly!
