Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Mason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Knuckles!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knuckles fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mason to the ground. Knuckles is now in Mason's guard.
Mason looking for a sweep. Not yet Mason, not yet.
Knuckles pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mason is keeping the position for now.
Knuckles slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Mason thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Knuckles gets to his feet - Mason follows without any prompting.
Mason tries to close the distance and clinch but Knuckles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Knuckles tries to clinch but Mason moves out of range.

Knuckles closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Knuckles lands in his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mason throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Knuckles tries to free his leg and advance position but Mason is retaining full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mason tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Knuckles showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Knuckles stopping the sweep attempt from Mason.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mason throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Knuckles throws a one two combo.

It looks like Nathan Mason has been cut.
Mason tries to clinch but Knuckles is having none of it.
Knuckles ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mason takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mason throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Knuckles counters with a nice right hand that sends Mason toppling to the canvas! Mason scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Knuckles finish him?!

Mason is rocked!
Danny Knuckles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Knuckles dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Mason has had enough and taps out.
