Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamela lands a nice shot to the body.
Manswell throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Lamela connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Lamela lands with a good body shot.
Manswell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Manswell misses with a head kick.
Manswell with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lamela to score with a decent uppercut.
Lamela is looking to clinch.
Manswell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lamela.
Manswell looks for the body kick but Lamela saw that one coming.
Manswell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lamela cracks a nice hook into Manswell's ribs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Manswell moves in looking to clinch but Lamela pushes him off.

Lamela is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Manswell is keeping busy.
Manswell throws a knee to the head but misses.
Manswell tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Lamela blocks an elbow strike.

Manswell tries a head kick but it misses.
A nice side step and Lamela releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Lamela scores with a jab. Manswell acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Manswell doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lamela catches Manswell with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Lamela wants to clinch up but Manswell keeps it at a distance.
Manswell tries a head kick but it misses.
Lamela lands with an uppercut that bounces Manswell off the cage and back into range.
Manswell is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Lamela engages and cracks Manswell with a massive lead left hook - Manswell tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Lamela is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eric Lamela!
After winning the bout, Eric Lamela thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
