Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Walter Jeremiah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Bolton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Bolton misses.
A quick step to the side and Jeremiah tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jeremiah looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Bolton clinches up with Jeremiah and pushes him back against the cage.
Jeremiah stalling in the clinch but Bolton improves position.
Bolton doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Jeremiah's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jeremiah throws an overhand right that lands on Bolton's shoulder, as Bolton tries to avoid the shot.
Jeremiah takes a body punch but keeps moving.

A little jabbing left from Bolton on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jeremiah tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bolton is able to avoid easily.
Despite the aggression on Bolton's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Jeremiah comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bolton throws a jab when Jeremiah was well out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bolton feints a jab promting Jeremiah to slip. Bolton then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jeremiah slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Bolton throws a series of punches but Jeremiah moves out of range.
Bolton moves in looking to clinch but Jeremiah pushes him off.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jeremiah, as that shot connected.

Nice straight punches there by Jeremiah. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jeremiah.
Jeremiah lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Jeremiah thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jeremiah misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bolton misses with a shot to the body
and Jeremiah counters with a straight right hand.
Bolton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jeremiah moves away.
Bolton looks to land a left hand but Jeremiah moved out of range nicely.
Jeremiah swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Jeremiah rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bolton moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Jeremiah ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bolton moves away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bolton misses with a punch to the body.
Jeremiah swings wildly with an uppercut but Bolton uses good head movement to avoid it.

Jeremiah breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bolton lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Good exchange - Bolton coming out on top.

Bolton takes the fight into the clinch.
Jeremiah manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Bolton lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Jeremiah to his knees! Bolton keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

After the fight, Charles Bolton was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
