Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 42 - 21 - 0, fighting out of New York, Travis Lucas!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Presle checks a leg kick nicely.
Ludovic Presle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Presle throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lucas on the side of the head.
Lucas throws a low kick but Presle avoids it.

Presle throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lucas looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Lucas comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Presle throws the left hand but Lucas avoids the punch easily.
Presle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Presle crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lucas - the referee stops the clock and Presle gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lucas. Presle manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Presle tries to bum rush Lucas with a series of wild strikes but Lucas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Presle lands with a hook. Lucas tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Presle connects with a nice looking jab.
Lucas finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Lucas gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Presle throws a right hand that Lucas ducks under and follows up with a left that Lucas also avoids with ease.

Presle with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lucas to score with a decent uppercut.

Presle takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Lucas punishes Presle's body with a nice straight punch.
Lucas tries a low kick but Presle avoids it.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lucas lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Presle has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Presle and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Presle might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Lucas tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Presle is able to avoid easily.

Lucas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Presle sprawling to the canvas! Presle rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lucas finish him?!

Travis Lucas decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
