The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eichmann works over Gilliam's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Chester Gilliam has been cut.
Gilliam could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Eichmann tests Gilliam's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Eichmann throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Eichmann feints a jab promting Gilliam to slip. Eichmann then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gilliam slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Gilliam walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gilliam dives in for a single leg takedown but Eichmann sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Eichmann throws a sloppy head kick and Gilliam moves out of range easily.
Penny Eichmann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Eichmann fails to land with a series of punches.
A little feinted left hand from Gilliam on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Eichmann lands with a nice combination. Gilliam backs away looking to recover.

Gilliam is rocked!
Gilliam switches off momentarily and Eichmann cracks him with a monster right hand! Gilliam topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Eichmann dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Eichmann!
