Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Dickens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Campbell comes to the cage accompanied by Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wayne Campbell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Richard Dickens!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickens walks into a left hand.
Dickens on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Campbell. Campbell obviously looking to wear him down.
Dickens wants to land a leg kick but Campbell is out of range.
Dickens just misses with a punch to the body.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Campbell enables Dickens to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Campbell manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dickens working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dickens fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Campbell looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Dickens feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Campbells jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Campbell will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Campbell comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Campbell finds Dickens's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Dickens flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Campbell lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Dickens will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wayne Campbell!
Wayne Campbell decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
