Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Rock Master Scott & The Dynamic Three - The Roof Is On Fire. Silver has chosen Natural Born Killaz by Dr Dre & Ice Cube as his entrance music. Brian Burns could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Benny Silver's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burns rushes Silver and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

We've been hearing reports that Burns has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Burns is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Silver.

Burns dives in and grabs Silver's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silver pushes down on Burns's head and hops out.

Silver lands a nice shot that snaps Burns's head back.

Silver throws the left hand but Burns avoids the punch easily.

Silver connects with a right hand. Burns shakes it off.
Burns shoots for a double leg takedown but Silver sprawls well. He's pushed Burns's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Silver throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

That was a close round but I would say that Brian Burns will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Silver ducks under a wild hook from Burns.

Burns shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silver's guard.

Silver throws out a loose jab but Burns uses good head movement to avoid it.
Burns throws a big counter combination but Silver scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Burns has taken the fight to the clinch.

Burns turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Burns is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silver knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Burns is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Silver looks calm but he's in trouble here. Burns gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Silver is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Burns lets go of the hold and Silver can pop his arm back in it's socket.
