Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamezdin Shraf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hessu Suihkija (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shraf's entrance music is O.C. - time's up . A fine choice. Suihkija has chosen Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamezdin Shraf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Hessu Suihkija!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suihkija is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.


It looks like Hessu Suihkija has been cut.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Suihkija.
You can see the frustration on Shraf's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shraf is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Shraf regains half guard.
Shraf throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Suihkija lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shraf wants to control but Suihkija is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Suihkija is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Shraf defends it well.
Shraf is looking for a sweep. Suihkija is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Shraf moves into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shraf bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Suihkija's guard.

Suihkija not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Shraf wants to control from the top but Suihkija keeps moving.
Suihkija really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shraf. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Shraf stands and throws Suihkija's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Shraf has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Shraf in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Shraf working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Shraf is trying to get an arm triangle but Suihkija is defending well.

Suihkija tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Shraf wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Shraf creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Suihkija sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Suihkija is trying to control Shraf's posture but Shraf avoids it.
Suihkija looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Suihkija is looking for a sweep.
Suihkija keeps trying to improve his position.

Shraf is trying to get an arm triangle but Suihkija is defending well.
A lull in the action here as Shraf stalls from top position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Suihkija tries to buck Shraf off but Shraf is having none of it.
Shraf trying to control the position but Suihkija is working away.
You can see the frustration on Suihkija's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Suihkija defending against the ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Suihkija can do anything to dispel that myth.
Suihkija is not content to let Shraf control the position.
Suihkija is pushing Shraf's head away, looking to escape. Shraf manages to hold on to the position though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jamezdin Shraf dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hessu Suihkija's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Shraf digs a good hook to Suihkija's body.
Shraf throws a low kick, looking for Suihkija's leg but Suihkija calmly moves out of range.
Suihkija is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Suihkija rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shraf moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Shraf tries to counter with a takedown but Suihkija is quick to defend against it.
Shraf swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Suihkija tries to clinch up but Shraf circles away and keeps his distance.
Shraf keeps the fight on the outside.
Shraf attempts a counter takedown but Suihkija avoids it well and moves away.
Suihkija lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Shraf is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Shraf swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Suihkija is looking for the big counter here.
Shraf throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Suihkija moves in looking to clinch but Shraf pushes him off.

Suihkija closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Shraf wants to control but Suihkija is keeping busy.
Suihkija is trying to control the action in half guard but Shraf is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Shraf is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Suihkija's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Suihkija's back!
Suihkija just trying to survive but Shraf is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Suihkija defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

Shraf is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Suihkija knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Suihkija for a finish.
I really don't envy Suihkija right now.

Shraf looking to break Suihkija's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Suihkija remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Shraf will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Suihkija defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Shraf's arms.
Shraf has the hooks in. Suihkija is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Shraf is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Suihkija has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Shraf has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Suihkija taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Shraf doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jamezdin Shraf!
A relieved looking Jamezdin Shraf thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Hessu Suihkija spoke after the fight, saying 'Got the number of that bus?'.
