Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Wobinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Wrestler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Wrestler!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wrestler shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wrestler was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Wobinson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wrestler wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Wobinson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wrestler's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wrestler's back!

Wrestler is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Wobinson gets his way!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wrestler can do anything to dispel that myth.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Wrestler.
Wobinson darts in looking for a takedown but Wrestler gets double underhooks and turns Wobinson into the cage.

Wrestler feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wobinson is on top in guard.

Wobinson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wrestler is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wobinson, into his guard.

Wrestler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

I would just about give that final round to The Wrestler.
Well Wrestler has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
