Cook has chosen I Want You to Want Me by Cheap Trick as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cho wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Cho throws a leg kick but Cook checks it.
Cook looks to land a left hand but Cho moved out of range nicely.
Cook fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cho has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Cho thuds a left hand into Cook's body.
Cook swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cook tries to clinch up but Cho circles away and keeps his distance.

Cho digs a good hook to Cook's body.

Cho lands a left and a right that send Cook crashing to the mat, dazed. Cho thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cook misses with a series of wild punches.
Cho cracks Cook with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Cook tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Cho pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Cook is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
