Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryker Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Stampfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quincy comes to the cage accompanied by the harley song. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paul Stampfer!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quincy goes for a double leg but Stampfer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stampfer continues to drive forward.
Stampfer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Quincy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Stampfer is looking to clinch.

Quincy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stampfer did well to prevent Quincy getting side control.

Quincy is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stampfer has managed to free his arm - good work.
Quincy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Stampfer wants to get back to his feet.
Quincy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Quincy prevents Stampfer from standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Quincy seems to be working for a kimura but Stampfer defends the submission attempt.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stampfer can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Quincy is trying to control the action in half guard but Stampfer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Quincy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stampfer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Quincy.

Quincy is looking to advance position but Stampfer won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stampfer tries to kick Quincy off but Quincy keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Quincy is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Quincy prevents Stampfer from improving his position.
Stampfer is trying to stand back up but Quincy is controlling him
Quincy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Quincy wants to free his trapped foot but Stampfer is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Quincy missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Quincy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Quincy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stampfer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Quincy wants to take a breather but Stampfer is having none of it.
Stampfer is trying to get back to full guard.
Quincy tries to pass to full mount but Stampfer defends it.

Quincy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stampfer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Quincy wants to control but Stampfer is keeping him busy.

Quincy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Quincy wants to control but Stampfer is keeping him busy.
Stampfer has one of Quincy's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Quincy prevents Stampfer from escaping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryker Quincy dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Quincy shoots for a double leg takedown but Stampfer sprawls well. He's pushed Quincy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stampfer scores with the left hand. Quincy knows he should have avoided that one.
Stampfer digs a good body shot into Quincy's ribs.
Stampfer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Quincy on the side of the head.
Quincy gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Quincy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stampfer can do to turn this around?
Stampfer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Quincy at a distance.
Quincy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Stampfer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stampfer lands with a hook. Quincy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Quincy fails to land the takedown.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Quincy shoots in for a takedown but Stampfer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryker Quincy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Quincy closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


Quincy is rocked!
Quincy fails to land the takedown.
Stampfer fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Quincy to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Quincy looks to clinch but Stampfer throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Quincy taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Paul Stampfer!

Paul Stampfer really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that GREEN!160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
