Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Shouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 32 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joshua Shouse !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shouse throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Brooks tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Shouse is in Brooks's guard.

Brooks has his foot on Shouse 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shouse works his way back into a safe position though.
Shouse stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brooks swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Shouse is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Brooks has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Shouse is looking to defend but Brooks has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Shouse ! Brooks pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Shouse taps out and this one is all over!
