With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frederick Jackson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Harris!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jackson throws a head kick but Harris moves out of range.
Jackson moves away from the strike by Harris.
Harris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jackson moves away.
Harris moves out of range as Jackson throws a body kick.
Harris looks to land a combination but Jackson avoids it well.
Jackson moves out of range as Harris strikes.
Harris fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jackson on the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson wants to slow Harris down by chopping away at his legs.
Harris stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jackson.

Jackson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Brian Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jackson tries to move into range but Harris moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Harris rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jackson counters with a good low kick that Harris was not able to check.
Jackson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Harris is able to avoid easily.

Jackson is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Harris.
Nice defenses there by Jackson.
Harris might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Harris misses with a two punch combination.
Harris lands with a cross.
Jackson tries to work over Harris's front leg with a kick but Harris checks it.

Jackson digs a good body shot into Harris's ribs.
Harris looks winded!
Harris slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Jackson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Jackson scores with a kick to the body.
Harris walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jackson.
Jackson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Harris's sensitive parts.

Harris is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Jackson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Jackson feints and then cracks Harris's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Harris down.

Jackson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

and Harris counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Harris is rocked!

and Jackson makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Harris really felt that one!
Harris is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?

Jackson connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Harris onto his butt! Harris bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.

Harris misses the shot to the body.
Harris tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Harris.
Harris seems to have recovered his senses.
Harris throws a predictable looking body shot
and Jackson counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Harris out cold! What a finish! Jackson is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frederick Jackson!
