Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Cortes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson The Spider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cortes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Street Life-Randy Crawford. The Spider has chosen Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Felipe Cortes has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortes feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits The Spiders jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Cortes keeps the fight on the outside.
The Spider is looking to clinch but Cortes is avoiding it.
The Spider tries to clinch up but Cortes circles away and keeps his distance.
Cortes swats away the attempt to clinch by The Spider.
As The Spider looks to move away, Cortes throws a big counter combo bu The Spider just gets out of the way.
Anderson The Spider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cortes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by The Spider.

The Spider moves into the clinch successfully.
The Spider throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Cortes blocks it with crossed arms.

Cortes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cortes comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Cortes swats away the attempt to clinch by The Spider.
Cortes lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Anderson The Spider has been cut.

Cortes cracks The Spider with a right hand to the side of the head.
The Spider shoots in but Cortes avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cortes lands the left hand.

The Spider looks to clinch

and Cortes counters with a crisp right hand that drops The Spider! Cortes lets The Spider back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Cortes cracks The Spider with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Cortes has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning The Spider to stand back up!

The Spider is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Spider fails with the takedown
and Cortes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The Spider is still on wobbly legs! Can Cortes finish him?
Cortes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The Spider seems to have recovered his senses.
The Spider moves in looking to clinch but Cortes pushes him off.
The Spider should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
A jab from Cortes finds it's way through The Spider's defenses.
The Spider tries to clinch but Cortes is having none of it.
Cortes cracks The Spider with an open hand slap.
Cortes misses with a double jab.
The Spider takes one to the chin there.
Cortes scores with a body shot.
The Spider closes the distance but Cortes moves to the side
and Cortes counters with a right hand to the body.

Cortes cracks The Spider with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Cortes has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning The Spider to stand back up!

Cortes throws an overhand right that drops The Spider like a sack of potatoes! Cortes dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
