Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maricue Russel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 6 - 2, fighting out of New York, Vlad Kersikov!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maricue Russel!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Russel gets a double leg takedown into Kersikov's guard.
Kersikov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Russel moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Kersikov drops Russel with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Russel looks back up at him and smiles so Kersikov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Kersikov ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Russel out cold! The fight is over!
