And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Winston Okafor!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okafor takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Okafor walks into a jab.
Belenus tries to clinch up but Okafor circles away and keeps his distance.
No luck for Okafor with that takedown attempt.
Belenus throws a shot to the body.

Okafor wants to control but Belenus is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Okafor content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Belenus tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Okafor wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Okafor has control of Belenus's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Belenus regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Belenus is looking to improve his position but Okafor isn't that keen on the idea.

Okafor gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Belenus scores with a jab. Okafor acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Okafor shoots in looking for a takedown but Belenus manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Okafor's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Zephyrus Belenus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Winston Okafor.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Belenus throws his legs up looking for a submission but Okafor uses it to pass to side control.

Okafor is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Belenus has escaped the position, nice work there.

Belenus is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Okafor pulls his head out easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Okafor keeps control of Belenus as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
