Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clint Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cole Anderson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clint Duncan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cole Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a head kick that misses.
Anderson throws a hook but Duncan blocks it.
Duncan is looking to counter punch.
Duncan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Anderson lands with a right hand.

Anderson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Anderson showed some decent athleticism there.
Duncan on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Anderson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Duncan tries to lock up and control but Anderson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Anderson controlling the position easily from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Duncan is in a horrible position here. Anderson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Anderson goes for an armbar but Duncan turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Duncan.

Anderson seems keen to control Duncan's posture.
Anderson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Anderson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Duncan won't allow Anderson to sweep him here.

Anderson seems keen to control Duncan's posture.
Anderson wants to stand up but Duncan is controlling him.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Anderson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Duncan tries to buck Anderson off but Anderson is having none of it.
Anderson just content to control the position.
Duncan gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Duncan wants to hold on but Anderson pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Anderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anderson seems to be working for a kimura but Duncan defends the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson wants to stand up but Duncan has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Anderson content to control rather than advance.

Anderson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Anderson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Anderson shoots in but no luck this time.
Anderson tries for a takedown but Duncan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Anderson drives through and clinches with Duncan against the cage.

Anderson gets control of Duncan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Anderson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Anderson wants to stand but Duncan is controlling the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Duncan wanted to stand there but Anderson had control of the position.

Duncan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Duncan won't allow Anderson to get back to his feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Anderson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Duncan checks the leg kick nicely there.

Anderson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Anderson lands in his opponent's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Duncan throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cole Anderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Duncan closes the distance and clinches up with Anderson, looking for a takedown. Duncan pushes Anderson against the cage but Anderson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Anderson throws a body punch but Duncan moves out of range.

Anderson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Anderson cracks Duncan with a big elbow.
Anderson controls the position.
Anderson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duncan struggling a bit here.
An elbow from Anderson crashes against the mat.
Duncan is letting Anderson control him for a moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Anderson takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Duncan to pass into mount.
Anderson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Anderson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Duncan's face.

Clint Duncan's cut is getting worse.

Anderson working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Duncan turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Anderson off and cradles Duncan's limp body as Anderson celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Cole Anderson!
