Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Theron Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bane takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Harris looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bane is fending him off so far but Harris persists. Nope, Bane circles away and we're back to standing.
Bane throws a nice inside leg kick.
Harris takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bane swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Harris shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bane manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Bane throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Harris escapes and throws Bane's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Harris wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bane, who protects the arm well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Harris slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

It looked like Harris was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Bane throws a looping overhand right but Harris ducks down to avoid it.
Harris shoots in but no luck this time.

Harris shoots for a takedown but Bane saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Bane counters with a right hand to the body.
Harris tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bane defends well and Harris ends up having to push Bane into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bane throws a big counter head kick but Harris avoids it with no problem.

Bane lands with a straight right. Harris didn't see that one coming.
Bane scores with a one two! Harris had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Billy Bane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Bane moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Some bone on bone action there as Harris checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Harris tries to clinch but Bane moves out of range.

Harris manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bane on his heels. He'll look to pass Bane's guard now, I'm sure.

Bane has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I would just about give that final round to Billy Bane.

Billy Bane decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
