The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dundee connects with a looping right hand.
Dundee clinches with his opponent.
Nabokov tries to score a body lock takedown but Dundee shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Dundee breaks the clinch.
Dundee is pawing at Nabokov, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Nabokov's nose. Nabokov is badly hurt! Dundee pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Nabokov tries desperately to hold on but Dundee is relentless in his assault! As Nabokov receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Dundee away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mick Dundee!
In his post fight interview, Mick Dundee started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
