PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrell Myrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Voodoo Daddy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mambo Swing. Tyrell Myrell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Voodoo Daddy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Myrell avoids it really well and circles away.

Voodoo Daddy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Myrell's waist but Myrell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Voodoo Daddy off to one side.

Voodoo Daddy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Myrell is just riding it out for now. Voodoo Daddy eventually gives up the hold.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round but I would say that Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will probably get the nod.

Voodoo Daddy has his feet on Myrell's thighs here. He's pushed Myrell off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Myrell screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
