Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Skap Hazard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Severus Ignotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Skap Hazard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Severus Ignotus!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ignotus tries for a takedown but Hazard circles away easily
and Hazard connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ignotus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hazard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ignotus fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Skap Hazard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Severus Ignotus.
Hazard swats away the attempt to clinch by Ignotus.
Hazard was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Ignotus's coach down at Cozad MMA London was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ignotus's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A left and a right from Ignotus both land. Nice combination.
Hazard throws out a loose jab but Ignotus uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hazard connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ignotus's hands.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ignotus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hazard paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ignotus throws a lazy uppercut
and Ignotus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hazard throws a monster overhand right that drops Ignotus! Hazard follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Skap Hazard was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
