Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yildizhan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yildizhan showed some decent athleticism there.
Bentley wants to improve his position but Yildizhan is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bentley is trying to stand up here but Yildizhan is controlling him well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bentley pulls Yildizhan in close to prevent any damage.

Bentley tries to strike from the bottom but he's left himself exposed and Yildizhan has taken his back.

Yildizhan has the hooks in. Bentley is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Yildizhan tries to close the distance and clinch but Bentley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Bentley on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bentley checks a leg kick.
Bentley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yildizhan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Yildizhan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Yildizhan looking to sit in guard and control but Bentley gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Bentley wants to stand but Yildizhan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Yildizhan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Yildizhan has his foot on Bentley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bentley works his way back into a safe position though.

Bentley seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Yildizhan for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bentley fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Yildizhan, pushing him back against the cage.

Bentley has hold of one of Yildizhan's legs. Yildizhan is fighting the takedown attempt but Bentley gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Bentley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yildizhan on the ground.
Bentley would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Yildizhan controls Bentley momentarily but Bentley frees himself.
Bentley controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Yildizhan pushes Bentley off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Yildizhan closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bentley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bentley throws a head kick but Yildizhan moves out of range.

Yildizhan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bentley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yildizhan's guard.

Bentley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
