Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Modesto Stanton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Hallman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piotr Hallman will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stanton instigates a clinch.

Hallman has Stanton pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hallman pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Stanton tumbling to the mat - Hallman dives into Stanton's guard.
Hallman wants to pass the guard but Stanton is keeping the position.
Hallman controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Stanton enables Hallman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stanton manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Hallman slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Stanton.
Stanton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hallman seems to be looking for submissions.

Hallman seems to be working for a kimura but Stanton defends the submission attempt.

Hallman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stanton is just riding it out for now. Hallman eventually gives up the hold.

Hallman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stanton defends it well.

Hallman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Stanton throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
